Vamoos

Importing bookings from Vamoos into Tourbox.

Vamoos Integration

The Vamoos integration lets you import bookings from Vamoos into Tourbox. It's used by operators who:

  • Are migrating from Vamoos and want to bring their bookings along.
  • Run both systems in parallel during a transition.
  • Use Vamoos for one part of their workflow (e.g. mobile app delivery) and Tourbox for another (operations, finance).

Connecting Vamoos

Under Settings → Integrations, find the Vamoos card and click Connect. You'll be asked for the credentials provided by Vamoos. Once connected, Tourbox can pull data from your Vamoos account.

What gets imported

For each Vamoos booking pulled in, Tourbox creates:

  • A booking with travel dates, reference, and status.
  • The customer (matched to existing if email matches).
  • Passengers with their basic details.
  • A starter itinerary based on the Vamoos day plan.
  • Attached files where available.

Import workflow

Imports can be run on demand or scheduled. Each import job shows:

  • Number of bookings considered.
  • Number imported / updated / skipped.
  • Any errors with the source row identified.

You can also import a single booking by reference.

After import

Imported bookings are normal Tourbox bookings. You can edit them, add finance records, attach communications, and build out the itinerary the same as natively-created bookings.

Disconnecting

Disconnecting Vamoos under Settings → Integrations stops further syncs but does not remove any previously-imported data.

Permissions

Connecting, disconnecting, and running imports requires the permission to manage integrations.
